Pretty much all the cases except NRAs has had a succesful injunction.

Looking at the NRA docket, Firearms Regulatory Accountability Coalition, Inc. v. Garland (1:23-cv-00024), that lawsuit is a mess so far.

Lol! An injunction against the rule for all of Texas...

I just watched that an hr ago

So if you are a resident of Texas you are covered, if you are a GOA member you are covered and if you are a FPC member you're covered..some of us are triple covered..plus the FU factor to begin with that they didn't have the authority to do this in the 1st place

    Haven’t watched it yet

So if you are a resident of Texas you are covered,

Unless something has changed, that is not what the injunction says.

I am a member of all three organization and live in the state of Texas, so that's like wearing two belts and two sets of suspenders. No worries getting caught with my pants down here.  :50cal:

The thing that concerns me is that it seems that all of the other cases are hanging their hats on Mock v Garland. I am afraid that it that case goes down they all go down. I hope that is not the case though

That come’s from the paragraph in the final order above the limitation to direct employees of the State. Or are you referring to this part that was shown at 6:35 where he says “and apparently also…”

As a bar member, Kirk may have info that’s not in PACER, but I think he’s speeding in that analysis. I’ll keep an eye on the docket and hopefully I’m wrong, but until I see the expanded order in the docket, it doesn’t exist as public information.

There’s at least a couple of comments bringing this up, as well.

If this is true, being in the TXSG I'm covered as a state employee!

See post 1387 for a link to the actual injunction, but if you complied thru the special f1 process, it’s meaningless for you [ETA: for the time being].

If any of these suits are successful, it will be interesting to see how a remedy is applied to those who have added items to the registry.
