It's a very modified 1911 of unknown make. The lower frame is custom, or at least I don't know of a maker that has a trigger guard like that. The upper portion has target sights and a compensator bushing. It has a mag well extension, custom grips, beaver tail, and the cosmetic touches.
Alot of thin serrations, target sights, and the lack of forward serrations on the slide leads me to believe it was originally a Colt.
I don't know but I enjoyed the movie. You can't go in there to critique the movie because there are a lot of things that just can't happen and will be picked up on by gun guys. You have to get into the fantasy. Angelina Jolie is hawt!
It was definitely cheesy, however I found it to be more entertaining than expected. There were several funny parts, and the ending gun battle was pretty crazy. Of course none of it is realistic in any manner, but after all it is a movie and if they were all realistic that wouldn't be any fun.
I don't know if cheesy is the right word, but I guess it might be slightly cheesy I thought it was very good. It was very intense and had tons of action; Lots and lots of gore with humor strewn all over the place. I loved it.
