I think I like this powder. I got a pound of it at Bass Pro. And I've shot through a little over 100 rounds. Seeing that shooting .223 kind of eats through powder (especially considering I've been using less than 5 grains per rounds in my pistols. . . .) I don't want to pay Bass pro's $30/ pound of powder, and I'm not ready (read need the $$) to buy an 8 lb jug online. Anyway, I went to a couple places and couldn't find any.

Got any place thathas this, or really another good .223 powder that meters well and works well for plinking (I'm really not that good with my rifle yet). I really want a powder that is closer to $20/ lb.

    Thanks

You might try Ramshot X-Terminator. Usually less than $20 per lb. I switched to that from H335 months ago when Midway had a sale on it. Running 24.5 gr with 55 gr FMJ. Meters well and my velocity and accuracy are right where I want them to be. About 285 rds per 1 lb of powder. That's about the cheapest powder I have found that works as expected.

I paid 23.95 at "A Place to Shoot". I bought it there because I was there and it saved me a trip someplace else. Try the Powder Horn too.
