I decided today that my ar needed more green on it. I have about 18 feet wrapped up on the mag and about 10 foot on the buffer tube.

Where did you get that at? I have a couple rolls of 550 cord. Are there more strands inside?

    650 isn't as strong as 550.

I like the wrap on the buffer tube with that stock.

Sent from my AN/PRC-77 using Tapatalk.

If you decide to do it do not use more than 2 wraps on top of each other or your charging handle will not clear it.

I got the idea from seeing guys do it to there ar pistols.

I like it, and can see it on the AR pistols, but for the rifle, you lose the adjustability of the stock.
