The military is being radicalized by the socialist revolution. All institutions must be. Looks like USMC is backing away from this according to recent reports but they were considering it as an option.

Military allowing gays to be open, allowing women in direct combat roles and removing all elements of Christianity are doing deep damage to the military as a cultural institution, but thats by design.

Not to mention the attempt to create a "Drone" medal that would be ranked above the Bronze Star with Combat "V" and the Purple Heart, two medals that recognized the service and sacrifice of troops who served in combat. Hagel finally grew a pair and bucked Obama's water boy, Panetta, who instituted the medal, but not because he wanted to.

Reports out of Ft Hood now, soldiers reporting they have been instructed Tea Party is dangerous and they will be arrested for participating. Who knows at what level this came from but its indicative or the military turning hostile to religious conservatives. Too many politicians disguised as officers and not enough soldiers in leadership

Yep, any rank above Field Grade, and a politician stands a better chance to advance over one who is not. It was that way when I left years ago and it appears to have gotten worse to the point that generals are starting to resemble congresscritters in speech and appearance. Here lately it appears they even use the same barbers, judging by those "Senatorial" haircuts.
