I have a stainless S&W revolver that needs some polishing attention. Don't feel like sending it in for $155 plus shipping for Smith to do it (not a collector piece). It has light scratching and holster marks on the normal places. Someone recommended Flitz, but, can't find it locally. Can someone recommend an off the shelf cleaner that I could use for this that they have had success with?

    Any help is much appreciated.

Mother's Mag Wheel polish. Test it on an out of sight spot first, because it may polish it more than you like. And it will clean up those light scratches. I've used it on a stainless Ruger revolver, which had a high polish to start with. Made it look almost new.

    Polished S&W 60

Here is the result of the first attempt using the Mother's polish, not bad looking for a 34 year old model 60. Adopted it from a local gun shop last Friday and need to go shoot it.

Just ordered an Uncle Mike's boot grip, can't wait to get it in!
