Political football: conservatives vs progressives.

Lets compare the left right spectrum to a football field. A conservative by definition just wants things to stay the same. The progressives cant throw that 40 yard pass but they keep doing a QB sneek, hand off to the running back and so on. They move the ball incremntally towards their goal. There is no bloody revolution, great leap forward or any other bold moves. This BHOcare move is the longest pass ive seen and they are dropping the ball. But heres my issue. The conservatives just stay on defense and the progressives will run another short gain play and move the chains again.

Technically, i dont consider myself a conservative but of course thats the term used in the commom parlance.

What we really need are counter-revolutionaries because the progressives are carrying out a revolution in this country.

We dont have a balance where things shift a little to the left then back as far to the left. It swings left then just returns back to center.

I see the left as the offense and the conservatives as defense. Conservatives are trying to keep our political structure centered in the constitution and the left (other than being plain offensive) is attacking the traditions and values that made this country great. Hell the left doesn't even believe in exceptionalism. They want everyone to be the same-same. Next they will want us wearing uniforms, designer uniforms to be sure but uniforms just the same.
