Would wheel weights work too? You’d be surprised at the number of wheel weights wife and I see along the road during our walks.
I know that at one point yeas ago the HPD range would collect the broken or otherwise unusable wheel weights from the shops in Houston. They would melt them down, cast bullets, and reload with them, to provide inexpensive target ammo for the officers practice. But that was at the old range before they moved the academy out off of Aldine-Westfield near the airport.

Tshe most recent disappointment I found was Craftsman Tools. Not sure when they changed, but about 5 or 6 years ago I noticed they were no longer USA.
I think that change happened a long time ago. I can remember being disappointed in the quality of the newer Craftsman tools at least a couple of decades ago.

But I'm lucky. My dad bought a lot of Craftsman tools in the 1960s and 1970s and I still have them. The only thing he bought that I don't like is the portable tool chest. It's a large one, metal, and weighs far too much to actually carry anywhere. Still, it's fine for sitting in a corner of the garage.

Everything I have in Craftsman from the 50's up to the 80's is still in great shape.

    Would not buy Craftsman today.
