Update. Wrecked my channel liner so I’ll have to stop at my LGS this weekend and pay someone to put it in. I don’t like the Swenson tool. It’s not the same length as the liner so it stresses on the edge when you’re tapping it in. ☹️

Lookin sexy. Can’t wait to shoot it.

 why? They give you a hard time about "making your own"?
They made me put the lower in my car and almost wouldn’t help. Then one of the younger guys mentioned it was just an aftermarket slide, and they have about 10 zev flicks in their stock.

I damaged the first channel liner banging too hard, so I took it to try and have a “pro” do it. They are an authorized cerakote dealer so I figured it’s part of what they do. They said the one I messed up came out no problem but they couldn’t even seat the new one. They didn’t charge me so i guess that’s a plus.

Well I said ok but thought that was odd since the first one went in a little ways sorta easily. Well I just took my time hammered little by little and it only took me about 5min and a few squirts of wd40 to get it all the way in.

After that cleaned it up and put the rest of the parts in, like a boss. Hopefully I’ll get to the range this weekend.

Sorry it’s the wrong way. I forgot I’m supposed to record landscape

You can see I use my thumb to push the slide into battery then a stovepipe due to not having a good grip. Some times it happened. Some times it didn’t. I’ll look into it more this week.

I am biying a poly80 gen2 19 asap. Looks like alot if fun. The gen2s look much better and more useable.

The v2 compacts that I made we easier because of the pre-made rear steel section, but the old V1s are going strong or me, and they do have the wide mag base.

BTW I have 4 brand new V1s listed in classified section for pretty cheap. ;)

Lol, thanks but I'm stuck on the gen2. Actually, I noticed Lone Wolf is coming out with a gen2 Timberwolf frame AND it takes gen3, 4 and 5 slides!

All I have are gen4s so this will save me $300-400! I think they are not 80% but I'm fine with that.

The few chips I have are pretty much the only ones there still and they’re only a wee bit bigger.

I’m actually still having the battery issue, though I honestly haven’t done much to remedy it. I have about 250round through it so far probably.

If you mean out-of-batter or fails to go into battery, I found that putting a little shim at the rear of the trigger block solved almost all of it for me, and a little more 2000 grit sandpaper on the rear rails. I've found that the V1s are really sensitive to the position of that trigger block.

I took one of those fake credit cards they keep sending me in the mail, cut it the size I needed and slipped it between the rear of the trigger block and frame and touched it with a little black paint so it didn't look cheesy.

It might be worth a try.
