Oh man the ASR mounting system is heavy and terrible.

I converted my Omega 30 to the Q Plan B mount, which uses their tapered Cherry Bomb muzzle attachment.

Waaay better, super easy and very lightweight.

Yes, but have you shot it without the suppressor? There’s a reason is called the cherry bomb.
Griffin plan A with titanium minimalist brake is waaay beterer and lighter(er).
But agreed, both are better than ASR.

Yeah and its not great LOL

I use this can w/Cherry Bombs on my 300 Blackout pistols, because I always run those suppressed.

I still use the ASR stuff on my rifles, since they use more traditional muzzle breaks.
Thankfully it’s really easy to change the can over from one to the other.

I’m getting to the point where I may start running all my rifles/AR pistols suppressed.
We’ll see once I get my two cans out of jail.

ASR isn't terrible, and neither is Plan B, Keymo, or a bunch of other stuff.

They all have strengths and weaknesses. ASR is affordable, medium weight, medium added length, and a HUGE variety of thread pitches.

Key-Mo, while elegant is long, heavy, and expensive.

Plan B is from a company where the owner is a prohibited person, stock is never available, and they have only 2 thread pitches.... and the muzzle devices can easily get stuck inside the cans.... but it is short and light and on the lower end of the price scale.
