I've been thinking about buying a Dillon 1050. I know start small yadda yadda but buy once cry once.

The 1050 isn't covered by Dillon's famous warranty fyi.

I would really like to go. I even have a place nearby to stay at. I just need to be able to get away from work for a weekend.

Are you sure you want to jump into the deep end of the Dillon pool? Maybe a 550 or 650 would work for you at half the cost or less.

I am at a hornady lock'n'load five station progressive now. Everything I've read indicates that a Dillon 650 might be the next step, but definitely not a 1050.

Look for a used 650...save money over the new 750.

Either way, with a toddler, a baby on the way, and tons of work, I don't have the time to shoot enough to make it worth it or the money to buy either one of them. But I will keep it in mind for when the situation changes.
