With the new house comes new responsibilities....
Gonna have to get a riding mower, so me being cheap, I am opting for a used model.
My boss at work is selling his Poulon Pro riding tractor for 600.00 bucks. I know the guy pretty well, and he is meticulous about maintaining his stuff.
Anyone have any experience with this brand?

I was under the impression they are made by Husqvarna, and also very similar to Craftsman brand as well.Looking for y'all's opinions. Thanks

Probably made by MTD Yard Machines as they make units for many brands. My zero turn Husqvarna was made by them, its the same machine as the Toro, Craftsman.... just minor differences. It depends on what year it is though. It really boils down to the engine and trans axle and what known issues exist for that year.

How big a yard? A good zero turn will run circles around an old fashioned riding mower. If you don't mow much, it may not be worth the upgrade. If you're trying to mow 5 acres, go with a commercial zero turn.

If you have a large yard, you can't beat a zero turn.

It takes oh, let see, 3 to 5 minutes to learn to operate.

Mine, a Toro with a Kawasaki motor and a 50" deck now makes me wish I'd gotten a 60".

Normal subdivision, but a lot and a half. Mostly straight and flat, but still too big that I don't want to push now it.
I will for sure check out the model year for any transaxle issues.
I'll be sure to post pics when it gets here!

Well, got the mower in, got it shined up and ready to go. Still a bit early for mowing season right now, but when it comes time, we should be good to go.
Also got the trailer, the blower and the edger/trimmer as well.
All in all I think I did ok for 800.00 bucks.
