greed has brought down many an empire, even socialist greed

How is it greed if you can sell it for that?

It's not greed, it's simply economics 101. If you were buying every box of .380 that rolls out of the factory and selling it for $50 / box, that'd be greedy. If you have the same guns and ammo as a 100 other retailers and you sell it for $50 / box. That's not greedy.

I don't go to the Ferrari dealer and complain about a new 2-seater running me $250,000 when I can go buy a Toyota with 4 seats for 1/10th the price. It's just how it is, 10 times the people want a Ferrari and there are 1/10th as many of them made every year.

To all the dealers that CAN keep the doors open AND sell guns at their high-marked prices - great. More power to you and I hope you continue in your endeavour. You will never see ME in your store paying your prices but if you can get enough people to come through your doors...fine.

To all of the people that BUY guns or ammo at the sky high prices...well...shame on you! With a little searching and digging around, you could have saved money. Maybe, big money. If you are wealthy and can afford it and don't care, good for you. If not...well...don't complain about paying the high price - you have nobody else to blame but yourself.

I swear, we had people coming on this board and whining about paying 30 bucks a box of 50 for 9mm a few months ago. Please...be quiet! nobody forced you to pay that price.

So yeah, there is no "gouging" only reasonable and unreasonable gun and ammo prices. You can choose to buy at either level. Whichever level you decide to buy at....keep your complaints about what you payed to yourself.

The free market is a beautiful thing, although the current adminstration and the left have brainwashed everyone into thinking that it is the cause for our problems. Quite the opposite: it is the SOLUTION. Learn to use our free market to your advantage....while we still have one.
