Army officials at Fort Bragg have relented somewhat and now say a small "pool" of journalists will be allowed to cover Sarah Palin's book-tour visit to the base on Monday. However, the journalists won't be permitted to interview Palin or her supporters who attend her book signing.

It has begun, the attempt to shackle Palin.

You can't tell me that if a Hollyweird liberal, like Streisand or Cher, was to do this that the Army would say "No interviews, or speeches". This is coming down from Axelrod, you can bet on it.

Sarah's son is in the Army, for goodness sakes. She has a right to visit the military, like any other civilian parent today. She is also entitled to speak her mind. Would they say to Jane Doe, "no interviews, no speeches"????

I bought Palin's book, partly because I simply wanted to see what she had to say, but also to spite the liberal left. Go Sarah!

I believe Sarah herself is banning the press.
