I should have let this thread die, but things like the post below just give me a nice lol. Thought some others may enjoy it. I especially like the part about how people who decline to do a bill of sale are felons and up to no good.
Saw that earlier this morning.
Yeah I tried to just let it go, but couldn't and had to make a follow up post for people to read also. It just didn't sit right with me.
I have no problem showing my LTC but something about a complete stranger having my address and personal info just doesnt sit right with me.
And honestly, a valid LTC should be enough for the skeptic seller. I only sell/trade to other LTC holders mostly. I push for an FFL transfer otherwise unless you are normal. That has a broad definition and is subjective but if you show up looking and talking like an illiterate retard, I am not selling to you. If you don't speak english, nope. If you are dressed like you just pulled a driveby, nope.
I have never had a single issue selling/trading with an LTC holder or a non degenerate with just a Texas DL.
Absolutely agree about profiling people. I don't care if people think it's wrong. I should be able to use my better judgement to make a wise decision. If that includes not selling to the thug homie, white, black, Mexican whatever then I will not. Even if you are an old timer driving a new vette to the meet I'm not giving up my home address.
My last private purchase was from a LEO who didn't even ask if I was a resident or legal to own. Did not ask to see my DL.
Same here, seemed as if he couldn't care less about whether I was legal or not.
