    I hope many of you are not like me that buy the brass-cased Monarch stuff at Academy for range ammo, looks like it might be dry for a while.

    ohhh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I havent noticed any steel cased 7.62x39 at academy in the past month though:gotme:

    Probably Have a hard time getting Monarch 9mm and .45 now.:banghead:

    Damn, that sucks that people bought the farm. I'd imagine they removed some of the safety stops to increase production. That's generally a trend in industry.

    Really sorry to hear that folks were killed and injured. I hope they were not being asses about safety.

    I really like their PPU .223 hollow point 69 or 75gr....great stuff for hunting and shooting in a 9:1 twist. My favorite .223 round.

    Exactly correct. Steel case Monarch is available in 9mm, .223 and 7.62x39.
