but wouldnt it be fun to put one of those BMF activators ona saiga 12 or another semiauto shotgun? would be kindof liek that auto shotgun from a string we had a while back. minus the crazy wall anchoring grenades...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they were and it was fairly recent (last year or so).

doubt Cabela's would sell them if they were illegal. it does say something about it being for ".22 cal rifle" ATF could have banned them on calibers other than .22lr

Do they still sell them? I know that the Akins Accelerator stock for the 10/22 was banned as a MG: Of Arms and the Law: Akins Accelerator folks file second suit

from the way that article reads, the akins contraption gives a stream of fire, until you take your finger out of the firing postion. like bump firing kindof. i havent looked at them or schematics but that seems like being dangerously close to more than one shot per trigger pull. so i could see that being an MG. but the activator jsut seems to harmless, as it simply pulls the triger for you, giving essentially one shot per pull. jsut something doing the pulling for you...
