They definitely have a different manual of arms than an AR and a bit more heft, but I just love the bullpup designs, just like the KSG.

    Pros-
Very compact system, basically the same length as a 10" ar.

    Cons-
    Different manual of arms
Proprietary parts, replacing bolt, carrier etc will be more expensive and probably hard to find.

    Wow QB TOO!

A bit ago you said “you fell off the wagon”; I’d say you drove off a cliff!

Nice rigs. I have a pair(556 & 9)and love them. I don’t worry too much about spare parts; they seem pretty well built.

How do you like the 9mm versions compared to the rifle caliber?

i love the 9mm because I shoot them suppressed (CGS/ZEV Kraken). I prefer the SAR but seems as if the FDE 9mm SARs have all dried up so I bought a second 9mm X95 model. Actually all the NIB ODG/FDE SARs of any caliber seem to be gone now.

I also have a couple of 9mm CX4s that I love. They are very light in comparison to the Tavors. One of them is suppressed also.

I don't suppress the 5.56 and don't plan to. In fact I'm waiting, probably another year, for another 9mm suppressor (CGS Mod9). My last suppressor took 13 months and the two before that took only 4 months!!!!

I have a third NIB 18" ODG 5.56 converted to LH tucked away in the safe so no worry on parts...LOL. Yes, I went absolutely crazy but glad I bought them when they were still available, especially the ODG.

Title pretty much covers it. Why would one buy a Tavor and/or is there any specific reason for someone not to buy this bullpup (other than the high price)? I know nothing about them. Pictures and opinions welcome (especially from someone who owns or has owned one).
Pro’s can flex on the poors
Con’s shit triggers, crap accuracy, and completely different manual of arms.

I’ve had my Tavor since the begging of the year and really enjoy it. People complain about the trigger but it’s a combat gun. I’ve shot rifles with far worse. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorites because of the size and balance.

The Tavor is my SHTF gun. My ARs are range toys. Love the weight distribution and compactness. Light mounting is much nicer than an AR as well. No bbl shadow, nothing hanging out to catch on things. Proven design.

The only real con is weight, but there's thing you could do to reduce it. Trigger isn't the best, but it works. I run an aftermarket one and it's more than serviceable.

Tony, is your rifle an X95, by chance? I looked over Manticore's site and couldn't find anything so I looked at your rife again and noticed the grip, then the light came on!
