Well, just got back from NC. Flew up to see my daughters High School graduation. I'm happy and sad at the same time. Happy that she has grown into such a great young lady, sad, that she has grown up so fast.

I did ok at the ceremony and didn't get all choked up, but on the flight home tonight I was surrounded by 7 unescorted minors that were traveling to see family and they ranged from 5 - 12. As I was sitting there with them, it made me remember when my lil girl was each of those ages and thats when it hit me......

oh well, the good side is that she likes Jeepin like me and never copped that teenage attitude where she didn't wanna hang with dad, so I am blessed, and the best deal is that she is coming home to Texas to go to college, so I will get to see her much more often and maybe get her to schedule a little time to go shooting and wheeling with dad....

Reminds me of an email I got a while back. God makes em cute so you won't kill em, He makes em teenagers so you'll let em go.

You got lucky about the teenage attitude thing, so did I ... at least so far.

That's great. Nice looking young gal, and obviously a proud dad. They do grown up before you know it. I tell my kids (with kids) to enjoy the moments, because even those grand kids are growing like weeds. I'm not sure the get it, but one day they will.

Yeah, its funny how that works, you usually don't get it til its too late, sorta like the old sayin "If I only knew then, what I know now"
