Public Lands off Anthony Gap (NM)?

Years ago, I'd drive 10 North and then catch 404 East (Anthony Gap) to this spot just north of the mountain range to do some plinking. Today, I wandered out and couldn't find this spot. Has it all gone to the mountain bikers, etc?

look at this thread starting about post #91 we start talking about location at Anthony Gap. hope this helps....i have never been there, but live in Canutillo, so kind of close.

I had to delete my old photobucket, so the pics are gone.

This should get you there tonelar...

It's still there. I got there all of the time and have never seen a cyclist. There is a new gate and sign, stating that you must keep it closed. Hope this helps.

Thanks JColumbus......I did notice the pics were gone, but thought it may help anyways. Is the gate hard to find or notice? This is closer to home than the location in Santa Teresa since I am in Canutillo.

No problem. Glad to help. I STILL have to drive slow when I get close so it is, but not too hard. I always remember how many humps I have to go over before it approaches, which is three, coming from the east side of it. You can't miss it though.
