Whats wrong with AAMCO I've heard different things but nothing as bad as what I've been dealing with at Cottman?

I deal with AAMCO nation wide and they are so hit and miss when it comes to a quality builder; I steer folks too independent trans shops that have been around of many years.
They can't afford to not do a top notch job.
If a trans shop has been around 10 years in the same location they typically have a good builder and very few come backs.

You can't even find an AAMCO shop in Michigan last I checked. I'm not sure if the BAR shut them all down, or if their crappy practices simply ran them out of the market...

Independents are a safer bet.
