I qualified with my agency today with my new S&W M&P 45 ACP today and am really glad to be back in the S&W fold as a primary duty sidearm.. I have carried a Glock 45 ACP for several years and it is a good tool, but I really like the M&P.
Did lots of reloading drills, malfunction drills and the like and it performed very well, not a single bobble.
Carried a 4506 for several years when in uniform patrol but had to change when I went to plainclothes detail, it was just too heavy for dress slacks.
Did I mention I am glad to be back with a S&W at my side?
