question regarding BOTW

I thought I read somewhere that they have an ammo size limit in the tac bays. Anyone know the facts on this?

No rifle ammo over .223/5.56. I got the stink eye when the RSO saw my AK lingering (unloaded) in the back of my truck. I think there is no limit on pistol caliber.

anything .30 cal and over is not allowed on tac bays.

What's a BOTW? What's a "tac bay"? 'Scuze my ignorance as I'm not into acronyms.

"BOTW" = Best of the West shooting range

"tac bay" = tactical bay. Private area bermed on 3 sides



Thats unfortunate re caliber limit. We have some stuff we'd love to shoot. I wasn't the biggest fan of their rifle range

It was in effect at least since October. Apparently the ricochets, especially off metal plate targets, were becoming an issue. I think you are still GTG with higher calibers on the regular rifle range.
