Questions for those who use lasers

Just bought a armalaser RSS rail laser for my HkP30 and HK45. I plan to keep it on my carry weapon (which one that is will depend on the season, the p30 is mostly for summer and the hk45 for winter)

a) do you have a laser in/on your carry weapon?

b) What range do you zero-in your laser?

c) if you have the option, do you prefer pulse or steady beam?

YES, IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE IT, IT NEEDS TO BE ON AND READY TO BE USED DEFENSIVELY, REGULAR MAINTENECE WILL DEAL WITH THE BATTERY ISSUE I AM ASSUMING YOU ARE REFERING TO, IF IT'S AN ISSUE OF THE LASER COMING ON WHEN YOU DONT WANT IT TO, IMO, THAT IS AN INDIVIDUAL EQUIPMENT ISSUE.

b) What range do you zero-in your laser? MY LASER IS SIGHTED FOR YARDS

c) if you have the option, do you prefer pulse or steady beam? PULSE GETS MY ATTENTION QUICKER, BUT I'M NOT SURE ONE IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER

A. No, not on my carry weapon (night sights), but I do have one on my HD gun.

B. 50 feet.

C. No option, steady beam.

IF IT'S AN ISSUE OF THE LASER COMING ON WHEN YOU DONT WANT IT TO, IMO, THAT IS AN INDIVIDUAL EQUIPMENT ISSUE.

The Armalaser RSS has silver contacts that only activate when touched by human skin (one of the reasons i bought it)
