I would build the stag arms model 3 (I have just over 700 in my build) and then spend the left over on ammo. What good is a gun you dont know hot to use :fighting0002:

How about $1,100 and you can throw down on that Spike's w/ the Adams Arms piston conversion :happy0001:

I'd probably go to PK, buy a complete lower for $305, and one of the complete 16" uppers for between 500 and 670 (for the 458 socom :tongueout:). Then go to DSG Arms and buy their MOE furniture kit (stock, pistol grip, handguard, and buffer tube stuff) for $100. Sell off the extra buffer tube assembly and buy some pmags and a set of magpul's iron sights (if you don't already have an optic for the rifle) or a used detachable carry handle. Then you've got a little left over for some ammo.

Off the top of my head, this is what I've got stashed in my parts box:

    M4 Tube/Buffer/Spring
    M4 Stock
    Couple of Bolt Carriers
    Couple of Bolt Assemblies
    Several Barrel Nuts/Delta Rings/Springs/Forend Caps
    Several A2 Front Sight/Gas Blocks
    Couple of Removable Carry Handles
    Jard 1.5# Trigger
    Several Mil-Spec Triggers/Hammers/Springs
    Several Safety Assemblies
    Several Magazine Release Assembles
    Several Bolt Hold Open Assemblies
    Unknown 16” 1 in 9” M4 Profile Barrel
    A1 Flash Suppressor

I've got an AR project I'm cooking up and I'm not sure which way to go with it, but most of these parts would still be left over and I'm sure I'll want to start selling them off pretty soon...

Quite a list, but I wouldn't have a clue on building one. And I am waiting for that ammo I am selling, to sell.

Lowers are very easy to put together. if you go to www.rangersales.com and click on the pdf document at the top of the page, it walks you through it step my step, and what tools you will need. i used a 5/32 pin punch, a lfatblade jeweler's screwdriver to push down the springs and pins for the takedown and pivot pins, and you too can put it together yourself.
