i'm converting a cargo trailer in to a camper. i need an electric power input plug / connector, Nema L14-30P male receptacle. i'd like to find a flange type with a flip up cover. i've been to a local r/v dealer that has a parts dept. they couldn't help. i have an extension cord that has this connection for my generator, now i just need the connection for the trailer. i can find this kind...

but it doesn't match my cord. i'm on a budget so paying a hundred bucks for a new cord is out. any ideas on where i might find this?

I seem to recall Carlson makes a flip up cover for a 30/50 amp outlet plug
at Home Depot I think Lowes would have them too.

i tried the box stores and the local hdwr stores. all the covers i found were for switches and 120 receptacles. found 1 that was round but too small. it was for a 3 prong 120 plug. it wasn't weather tight either. i found this online...

then i remembered an electronics shop in town that i've gotten switches from. i'll check them tuesday. maybe they'll have a cover...

looks like the same type or similar type of plug that we have on our ambulances, I think we get them from a parts store when we have to replace them, could try an online site that specializes in ambulance or fire truck parts too

DING DING DING! We have a winner!

Googled ambulance parts. that led to onboard chargers. that led to the connectors.
    THANKS!
