Endorsing McConnell, voting for quite a few appointments lately, starting to have my doubts about him.

While I support voter ID laws, I hardly think that puts him into RINO status. I can understand the argument that one who believes in smaller government and individual rights could make that we shouldn't mandate people to have government IDs at all, let alone require them to present them in order to vote.

I know a year ago he was a big deal but we've had a chance to see more of his stances and I have to say he sounds like more of the same if youve been paying attention.

If we dont have legit elections the rest of the crap doesnt matter and hes out saying we need to stop pushing for voter ID laws? Thats absolutely retarded. You realize hes also against deportation? Damn phone only lets me paste links at the top of my post but see above. He endorsed McConnell when he simply couldve just not endorsed anyone. McConnell is almost as bad as Lindsey Graham and John McCain.

    To quote someone elses post
"Rand Paul voted for John Kerry, Chuck Hagel and Jack Lew for cabinet posts. He stands side by side with Mitch McConnell against Tea Party opposition. He is soft on immigration. Now Rand Paul says voter ID offends blacks. What more do people need to see he is a RINO?"

He made a big splash early on but to me it seems hes trying to make himself more mainstream marketable but sadly I believe hes going down the Romney road. Trying to pander to too many sects and will end up losing support of the people he already had. This voter ID crap, endorsement of McConnell and not supporting deportation of law breakers is a no go for me. For anyone paying attention hes not quite the golden boy he was a year ago. Ill take him over Jeb Bush or Romney but Cruz is looking better and better.

Paul lost me few months ago moving into RINO field, would trust his father more. I fully understand politically he is moving to the center but in doing so will lose the base, Rubio did the same and fell on his face.

I have said it before and I'll say it again - even a center right repub is better than Hillary, even if they aren't your first choice.

How many more failed runs for president is the republican party going to have to endure with center candidates for them to realize theyre not putting up a candidate that energizes their base? I would definitely vote for Rand over anyone else seriously being considered without a doubt. This is more just a sad documentation of how far he has come(not in a good way) in only a year. Makes me wonder what other BS hes going to come up with in the next two years if he truly has his sights set on the WH. Not wanting to enforce deportation of illegals and no voter ID law is what really pisses me off. Id really like to know how he came to the conclusion that taking that position is a good idea.

I use it think same but many of the GOP hierarchy have become so progressive while they talk a good game there is little difference between them and Hillary.
Both parties have morphed into one IMO, for big business, welfare, foreign countries and not for us, it really is that simple.

Anyone who pushes for no voter ID is an un-informed idiot. If they are so under prevaliged that they have public assistance, they have an ID.

They are all a bunch of charlatans. They are going after low information voters who vote Democrat. That is a fool's task.

Same for "amnesty." Not one immigrant will vote for small government or any Republican -- they were born and raised in "Big Government" countries. They are more likely to vote socialist than capitalist.

    We are flocked!
