Speaking of follow-up reports, I remember trying to tell a story about a new record for breaking clays but I couldn't remember the numbers. I've looked it up.

On May 16, 2015, Dave Miller set a Guinness world record for most clay pigeons broken in one hour. Using 30 shotguns, each equipped with a 16-round extended tube, and 24 volunteer loaders, he broke 3653 thrown targets in 1 hour, firing every round from the hip (so as not to tear up his shoulders) and alternating sides when his hands got tired.

Now, if I could just remember precise numbers like that when I'm actually telling the story, I'd sound a lot more believable.

Definitely will. I tend to lump Madisonville in with the Houston gang as both are in my territory at work.

I ended up clicking this tread because I wondered what the heck a MCGAC was.

Our 1st few threads were in the Houston section but we moved 'em to Other Areas trying to attract more members.

Uh, Curtis, check your arithmetic.

60 minutes X 60 seconds = 3600 seconds.

3600 seconds / 3653 broken targets = 1 target every 0.9855 seconds.

What amazes me is that he did it without ever shouldering one of those 30 shotguns. I tend to laugh at movie characters who wipe out all the bad guys with a shotgun while firing from the hip. Maybe I won't laugh so much any more.

I feel like Ad Topperwein's record holds up a bit better, but I'm being snobish. Both feats are absolutely incredible, and in my dreams I hope to be 1/100th as good as either of those men.

I might get them just to have the brass though.
I found 5 or so individual boxes online for sale as well.
