Well it won't hurt the "eye rollers" if it makes the others feel better and safer. So, let's just leave it at that.

No, let's don't leave it at that. Are you a socialist, a communist, or a liberal SMW? Because you are sure sounding like one with this mask nonsense.

Can you provide any credible sources or links to sources, that prove any mask, other than those of a medical grade for infectious diseases stops Covid 19? I'll bet you that you can't.

No you should not have a choice whether or not to wear a mask in places where people will be that don't have a choice about being there. It won't hurt you to wear one and might protect someone who has high risk if they contact the virus, but don't have a choice about being there.

I know you don't care about anyone but yourself, so that's why rules have to be set and enforced in those situations. So, you have a choice about those places. If you don't want to wear a mask, then don't go to those places. So see, you do have the choice to wear or not wear a useless mask don't you ?
I did research on this mask issue. And the consensus of sound research, prior to 2020, was that masks are not effective at stopping virus transmission.

So why should anyone wear a mask?

If someone is vulnerable, they should self isolate. Have whatever they need from stores delivered, or use curb side service.

If they have to go out, they should be using an N95 medical mask. Others around them wearing a bandanna does nothing to help the vulnerable.

It's actually not a free country. There are all kinds of laws, ordinances and regulations that control our freedoms.

I've tried to explain to you in objective terms where you will need to still wear a mask. If you don't want to wear one, then don't go there. It's very simple but you really just want to argue no matter how much common sense it might make, and how little harm it will do you to comply.

So, this concludes our discussion because I'm not going to repeat the same common sense things to you over and over. There are just some people who will never get it and I guess you want to be one of those.
You use the word "need" but you cannot justify that it is a need.

Some people will just never get it.

Time to buy a celebratory 1911 in honor of both Texas' independence day and the end of the stupid lock down (since the announcement came on March 2)??

    Masks....
    - Driving a Prius saves the baby whales
    - Banning plastic straws will save the baby sea turtles
    - Banning charcoal bbqs will save the atmosphere
    - Banning internal combustion engines will prevent global warming
    - Banning high capacity firearm magazines will save thousands of lives
    - Wearing masks will prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Notice anything about the above? None of the above has accomplished anything. By this time we should be living in utopia since all of the Leftists have come up with the solution to our problems and the Karens are out to enforce them.

    Sorry aint no “Mask Law”.
So again I am free (in Merica) to choose to comply or not with these safety protocols.

    I feel safe as a bug n a rug.

Hey, we don't know tha.....Oh, look at that. it is Gambler.

    He be gone very soon.

    ..and 3...2...1...off to the cornfield!

Back on topic, if masks truly worked, we would still have concerts, sporting events, full movie theaters, full classrooms, etc. with everyone wearing masks.

But of course they don't, masks are just another useful tool for the commies to control the masses. Never let a crisis go wasted.

I don’t know how useful they are for commies. Maybe it’s a long term plot.

My personal experience is that masks have created a much more socially distant society at the personal level. A huge part of communication is simply through expression and much of that is lost when most of the face is covered. Maybe it’s part of some grand evil plan, idk. But I rarely put on a mask and I smile when I hold the door for someone. So far I haven’t been screeched at.

OK, time for a little off topic trivia. METV just recently aired that Twilight Zone episode as a tribute to Cloris Leachman. It's not one of my favorite episodes, but I did enjoy seeing a young Cloris. I always enjoy seeing young versions of famous actors in Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, and Perry Mason.

    ETA:
Now to get back on topic, I had to travel for work last week, and spent 3 nights in a hotel. I was headed down to the bar/restaurant from my 3rd floor room, and hit the elevator button. The elevator descended from one of the upper floors, and as the doors opened and I stepped in, the guy already in the elevator jumped out and started yelling about me not wearing a mask. I asked if he was getting back in and he said I will wait for the next one since you aren't wearing a mask. This guy felt so strongly about mask wearing that he would rather disembark the elevator on a different floor than ride in a 12' X 12' elevator car with someone not wearing a mask. I had a mask in my pocket and would have put it on if he hadn't been such a whiny little bitch boy about it.
