Reciprocity question

I'll be traveling out of state for the first time since obtaining my chl. I was wondering if someone could help me understand the reciprocity a little more. I'd like to conceal carry the whole time if possible. States ill be traveling through will be Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, then Ohio. Will stay in Ohio for the trip.

I'm not gonna be stopping except to get gas, so I'm more worried about the laws while traveling and carrying.

While traveling, you are subject to the gun laws of the state you are visiting. Click on the "Concealed Carry Resources" tab on the top, then "Concealed Carry Permit Info" for an overview of each state's gun laws.

I have no idea whether their interpretation of local laws is accurate.

If you have a smart phone, there is a great app call "CCW" for reciprocity and general carry. You can pull up any state laws you want. As with ANY electronic source, you always have to understand that it could be out of date, but it is a great start. I've been using it for about a year now and it's been a great resource. Helped with my move down here from Upstate NY.

It only changed in 2015.

Being defensive is a natural reaction, I don't blame you for that post. However, I didn't give a bad answer in this thread, you did. I HAVE given bad info before, and as I wrote, this was a reminder to us ALL.

I've found a pretty good app called Legal Heat that I use to check other states laws and reciprocity.
