Recommendation for battery trickle charger

Three years seems to be the lifespan of modern batteries.

Agreed and once you run them dead the first time it seems like it sucks a lot of life out of them.

I have really good luck with deep cycle marine batteries but they are very expensive.

I was looking into this a while back and narrowed it down to these three:

Battery Tender 021-0123
Schumacher SE-1-12S-CA
BLACK&DECKER BC2WBD

I never did get one but found those to have the best ratings/reviews on Amazon.

Probably well covered, but I've been using this Battery Tender for years and it's kept and revived batteries on my truck, cars and bikes. It cost less than 4 individual charges and only consumes 1 outlet plug.

My Father and I had great luck with the Deltran "Battery Tender" brand. Years of service. No failures. No problems.

The BMW motorcycle nerds recommend them, and those guys are autistic about such things. I use this one on my boat trolling motor battery...

The $10 battery maintainer from harbor freight works too. Currently have one on a red top dry cell. No problems.
