Do you have a light on it? I'm looking for ideas

    Here are a couple ideas:

    1. Tac13 shown but a Shockwave will serve the same duty. Even if you don't go with the brace, the OEM bird's head grip handles well. Where the light points - the buckshot goes just a smidge to the right. At home defense distance it sure wouldn't matter.

    2. Mossy 500 Persuader used to have the horrible and awful pistol grip.Threw that in the trashcan before leaving the gun store and the buttstock was added. Where the light points the buckshot goes. This is the first gun I bought with my own money. 22 years old and fresh out of the Army. I bet this gun has 10,000 rounds through it. Current trunk monkey with a full bandolier.

No, no lights, no saddles, no....

On some with stocks I’ll put an ammo carrier but I put nothing on the side opposite ejection so the firearm can be carried flat on the chest or on the body.

Lack of clutter, obstruction, more or less simplicity rules in house factoring in variables of who, grabs what, in what state of mind or consciousness etc.

That’s today. Tomorrow who knows. Refinement or change follows one around.

The choices are myriad. Good luck. I hope you never need it.

OP should just take Biden's advice and get a double barrel and fire off a couple of rounds in the air. That will scare off the bad guys, and it's non-lethal!
Please don't do this inside. You will be deaf and have some home repairs to do afterwards. If you survive.

I have a Mossy 500 and 590, both are excellent solid home defense shotguns, one thing I do like is that the safety is on top...makes it super simple to thumb fire and safe.

I also have two shockwaves which are good, but if you have never fired one, I suggest to do so on the range. They hit different when firing them to me, even more so than a traditional pistol grip. I actually found the shockwave standard grip (Raptor) a bit harder to hold tightly post firing. It could just be me however.

Recommendations for quality, reasonable cost, reliable, ease of handling home defense shotgun and type of non-lethal load with potent stopping power. Prefer buttstock model. Thanks.
I have been very happy with my tricked out Mossberg 12 gauge Shockwave.
