    Curious - what makes it the best in your opinion? I'm up that way frequently and could stop by.

    For me, best is decided by "good bark, not over-salted, meat falls apart on a bite but not before." Others vary. I'm interested in your opinion of why this is the best.

    WAY earlier in this thread a joint on 290 was mentioned: Carl's BBQ. Don't bother. It used to be good, many years back, but now days I am pretty darned sure it is pre-cooked, pre-packaged commercial stuff that is warmed up on site. Disappointing, since I work a stone's throw down the freeway from it.

    I've got a friend that owns Watson's BBQ in Pearland but I've never made it out there to try. Anyone have feedback I can give him? :)

    Carl's sucked all the way back in 1997 when I first moved to Cypress.
