I think we are in for a long wait for reasonable ammo prices.

    4.7 million guns

Let’s say 2 boxes of ammo each, so 100 rounds. That a half-billion rounds.

The problem is going to get much worse before it gets better.

We should all band together and start an ammo manufacturing company.

    Kidding not kidding...

    Remove me from the count.
I haven't purchased any in probably 18 months.

S&B is supposed to open an ammunition plant in the U.S. but I have not seen any details about when it should happen.

That doesn't include the LTC people, who don't use one. I have bought multiples. I am assuming I am not the only one. That could be another million if everyone of those bought at least one.

But even with background checks it is possible that bad guys/gals still got guns from this report from Townhall blog online:

"What is somewhat disturbing is how they could not complete some 1 million background checks over the past couple of years, potentially allowing thousands of prohibited persons to purchase firearms. The background checks were simply not completed within the critical three-day period. After that, federal law says that the sale may legally go through if nothing turns up on the buyer."

In other reports I have read that many jurisdictions that are supposed to report to the background check system don't do it completely and/or on a timely basis. Garbage in Garbage Out.

As there is really no way to stop them anyway, I really don't care if "bad guys/gals" get guns... I'm more concerned for the need to /gals on to guys in order to feel inclusive...

...and more concerned that good guys be able to get guns without hindrance...

If you are walking the streets a free man, you ought to have your right to keep and bear arms.

Yes, good guys getting guns should not have restrictions...except that the anti-gun crowd wants 'universal background' checks and such. Which is supposed to keep guns out of the wrong hands but only makes it harder for the good guys.
