In case anybody is looking for relatively reasonable AK47 mags, Red's (south store) still had quite a few at $9.95 (as of March 10) and they didn't have a limit on how many you can buy. I don't have personal experience with the Tapco mags, but the tests I have seen make me think they are a pretty reliable.

    Helotes!
They're great for range mags, but I'll take steel for any hard use.

They're also good in AKs that have wobble issues being they're usually a tad thicker than metal ones.

Still, it's great to see them back at somewhat-reasonable prices. They were much lower than that before the panic, but skyrocketed like everything else afterward.

What I've been wanting to see is the new bakelite (Intrafuse?) ones at any price. They came out just before the craziness started, and I've yet to lay eyes on one at shops, online or gun shows...
