You shouldn't feel the needle. That's what the topical lidocaine is for. It's usually the pressure of injecting -caine into the site. Can be more painful if the carpules are not warmed prior to use.

Ever notice how you rarely see the needle waved across your face before they do the injection? They sneak up under your chin. A psychological thing. Why does it require such a big ass needle to do the job anyway ?
