Was at Carters Country yesterday and they had lots of powder in stock. IF you want to pay $50 a lb! They had an 8 lb jug of IMR4350………….$400!

It’s gonna be that way for a while. Still a hell of a lot cheaper than paying hazmat/shipping/tax, etc. I found some powder on sale at Brownell’s for $32/lb. By the time all of the above was added it was $75’ish/lb.

Wow. I'd likely sell from my stocks at that price but all I have in excess is 4895 and Trail Boss.

I remember at the height of this current shortage, I bought a lb of Superformance off gunbroker for $50 (local pick-up). Never thought I’d see those prices in a store!

If I ever get back into CAS, I’d buy all the trail boss you’d sell.

I think my better half has shot her last CAS match though and that’s likely the demise of my chances at a shooting championship.

I’m up in Cedar Rapids Iowa visiting my daughter and her husband, and we ran up to the local Scheels today. They have TONS of every powder imaginable. Again, most of it is close to $50 lb, but it was amazing to see shelf after shelf filled with every powder imaginable!

First time I have ever found primers in Academy in Victoria TX. I bought 200 CCI magnum small rifle primers. They had a few more boxes left. 8.99 for 100. They had more pistol primers, I believe both large and small.

8.99 is about a $1 less than I expected to read. Things are moving in the right direction. Cabela’s in El paso had
    CCI Small rifle magnum
    Federal Small rifle match
    CCI Small rifle
    CCI Large pistol magnum
    Winchester small rifle
Prices ranged from 8.99 to 9.99, but they weren’t marked very good.

Man times have changed. I used to buy 2000 primers at a time at $30-40 per thousand. I remember buying a jug of Unuque for $80.

It’s got to be horribly expensive to get into reloading these days.

Can anyone use some of these?

I have probably over 400 of these. Over 10 lbs and they weigh roughly 172 grains. They measure .365 inches, so am I correct in assuming 9mm? I can't remember where I got them, but I believe they were given to me. I would be happy to give them to someone who can pick them up in Victoria.
