Got a new project heading my way, a Marlin chambered in 45-70 Whisper. First hurdle is trimming the case OAL from 2" back to 1.6". Before retiring I had access to a lathe which could be used to trim the cases. Not an option anymore. Any suggestions on how to trim such a large amount off the length of the cases quickly?

Tubing cutter? Then finish them up with a case trimmer?
