In yet one more effort by the media to drag Texas and its traditions into the Leftist image of the California Democrats, CMT is now working on a remake of Walker Texas Ranger which will air soon.
Instead of choosing someone of the persona and stature that Chuck Norris created for the role, the new Walker will be Jared Padalecki who is best known for his roles in horror features and that hard hitting drama of television past The Gilmore Girls. No doubt CMT cast him because he is a Texan and because he has been playing a variety of roles for them but the long hair and dimples do not cast an image of a Ranger that any true Texan could stomach.
But, he will be backed up by his female Ranger partner and his homosexual brother, both of whom will be sure to get equal air time as the entertainment industry follows up on other true life dramas like 911 Lone Star and shows the nation that we welcome liberals of all persuasions so "come on down".
