I purchased an extended magazine tube to add to my 20 gauge Remington 870. The factory magazine tube has 2 dimples at the end of it that seem to prevent the use of the additional capacity. I have not run across these dimples before on my 12 gauges. Is this something they did on the 20 gauge only? Short of filing them smooth is there an easier or better option for removing them?

    Thanks
    Epp

They've been doing that for awhile. Drilling them is the best option. Some people have had luck by using some type of anvil to press them out (something like a socket of appropriate size), but not as quick or easy as drilling them
