Remington 870

I’ve gotten countless suggestions for a beginner level shotgun, and this one seems to be the most prevalent. Thoughts?

As others have said the Remington 870 is a good one.
My preference is the Winchester 1300, failing that, the Winchester 1200. Both are smoother than the Remington out of the box and just get smoother with use.
