Picking one up with the 18" bbl and 7 shot factory tube... going tacti-cool with it, got an M4 style stock on the way... what else? Give me some ideas here folks...

The most "budget" model I see is still close to $300 from Surefire. Where are you seeing, or finding a "G2".

Either way, they look pretty cool (except the big Surefire badging) they're pretty expensive considering you can get a new forend and light mount < $40 then add the weapon light of your choice. Maybe I'm missing something.

This is the one I had in mind, $350. I didn't see where DirtyD said price was a consideration. You ask for ideas, I'll help you spend your money.

The choke on the Remington model 870 TAC. Call it a breacher extension or whatever you want; if I am out of ammo, I will strike with it.

Ok, that's what I was thinking of as the budget-minded end vs. the $300+ Surefires.

What forend and light holder? I assume it's a separate light holder?
