They'll eventually mothball the New York plant.
They've been moving production to the new facility in Alabama.
Freedom group sucks, but that is a win in the long run. Eventually it'll be sold to people who can do better and by then it'll be out of hostile territory.

It's almost as if Freedom Group was purposefully tanking firearms manufacturers after purchase. Has any Freedom Group buy out excelled??

It may be too late though. It is a fairly quick process to ruin a name. It takes much longer to restore it, especially given the competitiveness of the market.

I don't know the mechanicals of FG, but the pattern is akin to when private equity firms buy-up companies.

They maximize profits by driving costs out and reducing redundancies among the companies.

But this race to the bottom is seldom good from a brand perspective

A strong brand = price premium per unit sold.

A week brand must rely on volume because they're competing on price.

I seem to remember something about them being UK based.

It would be the fastest way for antis to kill American arms manufacture, by running the companies into the ground.
