Went today, had a good time but had to leave my XDs in the car. 30-06 signs at the entrance to the festivities (where you give up your tickets).

From what I heard the whole "amusement park" operates under one tabc license. My recommendation, carry a black powder pistol. or recurve with back quiver and arrows

Renfest does not qualify as an amusement park; I don't believe they meet the definition.

I am not sure what the reference to TABC license is for.

So I saw the non compliant "no concealed handguns" sign. It was 4 ft tall. On the right near the entrance on bathroom side. Talked with biz guys there around German food area and they all have their own beer/wine license per store. So nothing legal about no concealed handgun sign. May just settle the out of towners that see the sign. :/

I was at Renfest this past weekend. The are two valid 30.06 signs flanking the entrance where they take your ticket. I also saw 51% signs at the vendor booths that sell beer and wine.
