    yeah, I would only shoot 38 special 158 grain in standard pressures in one of those. I have owned a 637 and 642 before. Punishing is the only description I have.
    I agree that the recoil is a bit “lively.” I’m one of those weirdos that kinda likes it...in small amounts. I carry the Barnes Vor-tx all copper 140 gr 357 mag in it and they let you know when you’ve lit one off. I just crush grip it to death when I shoot it and it’s not too bad, you don’t want to give it any “wiggle room.”

    Just one revolver and it's a M60-7. Last variant before the J frame went to 357.
