Prep is 99% of the process to paint the scope and rifle assembly. Prep and clean for paint. tape off areas that don't get paint. Don't Overspray and get drips. Make some way to hang barrel and transport so you don't have to touch it. Patience in letting the coating dry and set up. I let it hang 7 full days before I touched it and installed it. Once it dries it is hard as all get-out. I dropped the rifle and I thought it would be chipped. It chipped the paint of the other object it hit.
The rest is all Ruger OEM
The target was shot at 50 yards
New barrel is on and it's done. 6.5X47L Savage.
Load a 140 running 2720-2750 and it'll last a really long time and brass will get about 20 loads on them before failure.

I recently assembled a FN A4 clone. Took a picture and sent it to some Marine buddies like so:
I was going through some old gear earlier. Was I supposed to turn this in?
Most thought that was funny. One has no sense of humor.
How about something a little different...
It's now a proper rifle, and not a pistol with a brace.
