There are a few folks around here who may have the knowledge to help you. I'm familiar with (as in, I've at least seen and touched) the Harrels but I've never used one.

I'm seriously considering putting some sort of tuner on a 7.62x39 build but that's a whole 'nother subject. :)

    Good luck.

Ah yes! A barrel tuner (or damper)... For a rimfire. A "rimfire tuner" threw me for a loop. Id never seen nor heard told about a rimfire tuner.

I have experience with barrel dampers, but not with rimfire and not aftermarket. In a "past life" I had the pleasure and honor of working for a gun manufacturer. We had our machine shop make our own, only for barrel profile/accuracy testing purposes... And yes, it makes a difference.

No experience with either of those . My Dad used to have doughnut shaped weights machined to go on the barrels of his rimfire match guns. They were machined to be a slip fit on the barrel and had a set screw to lock them in place. Adjusting the positioning changed the harmonics of the barrel, and sometimes gave better accuracy.
