    Why would you say forgive me? I think that thought is exactly the point for those of us who know our parents will not be with us much longer. I hope everyone has a positive experience with their parents, mine sure was. That picture of him on horseback made me smile - a mile wide. I wish I'd known him.

    My Dad wasn't so hot but there were many things about him that are real standouts. He served his country well in WW2 and gave more than could have been expected of him. That's how I prefer to remember him.

    Again, condolences to you and your family. Your Dad must have been a great guy!
