Jerry Reed wrote and recorded a song, "Guitar Man" and a few years later Elvis wanted to do the song. The first attempts he didn't like, because of the sound. So he had someone get in touch with Jerry Reed to do some of the guitar picking on the song.

I got to see him live once. Was standing in the isle talking to his wife and when they set off the pyrotechnics on stage, it lit the curtains on fire. He had a surprised look on his face, but didn't miss a beat. His son Ned is now singing his songs and has even brought out some that Chris didn't record.

One of my all time favorite groups, 38 Special. Got to see them live back in the early 1980's. What a concert. Eddie Money opened for them. WOW!

Mother's Day about 2006, was driving to a friends ranch and blacked out...ended up in a ditch. Song has meaning to me. Met Tracy Lawrence backstage at a local concert venue and told him about it....Man I've been there!

I have been a Tracy Lawrence fan since the beginning. Awesome performer. Got to see him in a Houston nightclub back in the very early 1990's before he got really big!

I think I saw him at a couple of county fairs too. Has a great voice and I think got overshadowed by the likes of Garth Brooks.

That one time I saw him years ago, he put on one great show. I was impressed with him a lot. Plus he's a fellow Texan!
