WTS/WTT Rock Island 1911, 10mm, La Porte

I got this a while back from a fellow TGT'r. In box, one mag.

I purchased 200 rds of S&B 180 gr. fmj ammo and fired about 25 flawless rounds through it. Not a thing wrong with it. Just not what I expected and I don't really see the benefit over my .45acp.
No hurry to sell, and I would prefer to trade. I'll do my best to post photos shortly. Comes with about 175 rounds of factory ammo.
Prefer to trade locally for a revolver and I'm open to suggestions.
Will take $550 cash.

Nice.

You should try Underwood 10mm.
Their 180 grain is 1300/fps.

S&B 180 grain is like 1150/fps.

I only mentioned ammo because he didn't think it much different than a .45.

Let's not turn my for sale/trade posting into a caliber war, please.
Actually, I would compare the 10mm to a hot. 357 from a 6" barrel, not a .45 acp. The RIA functioned perfectly and was accurate. It just didn't float my boat, so now I'm open to offers of trade - including trade for photos of former presidents (Jackson, Lincoln, Washington, etc).

These Rock Islands 10mm's are fun and accurate to shoot
